Description:

Consume one square of Ambrosia during a time of rest

  • All stress boxes clear
  • Any wounds you currently have will heal at the rate of Inhuman Healing (See the book for rules)

Consume two squares of Ambrosia during a time of rest

  • All stress boxes clear
  • Any wounds you currently have will heal at the rate of Supernatural Healing (See the book for rules)
  • Make an Endurance roll at -2. Failure to succeed on this roll results in death as your body temperature rises and you begin to burn from the inside out.

When attempting to tag an aspect to spend a fate chip for a bonus on your roll, your high concept does not count. Your high concept is what enables you to consume the Ambrosia in the first place, and therefor does not grant any additional bonuses to this situation. Acceptable tags would be aspects that relate to endurance, tenacity, and overall toughness for dealing with physical pain.

Think of the best taste you can possibly imagine. Remember the good feelings associated with it; the memories that come to mind when you imagine that food. Think of how the food made you feel.

This is Ambrosia. Ambrosia tastes different for everyone, and only the Gods, Children of the Gods, and those the Gods deem worthy may eat Ambrosia. Eat too much of it however, and your body runs the risk of burning up from the inside out. It can heal the most severe of wounds, but too much will kill you just as quick. Only those with outstanding physical endurance are able to stomach much more than a bite of the food.
